2007 das Jahr für thailändische Horrorfilme ! Ein Segen für uns, hoffe ich mal ! 
Das Jahr begannen vermutlich die Macher von ' Shutter ' mit ihrem Überraschungs-Hit ' Alone - Faed ' und nun kommt eine Flut von Horror/Thriller Filmen auf uns zu, die uns das Fürchten lehren soll ! Die Mädchen mit den langen schwarzen Haaren gibt es zwar immer noch aber seit einiger Zeit rückt mehr der Gore/ Splatter in den Vordergrund. Wie bei zB.: Art of the Devil 1-2, Scared oder auch Hell ! Genug geredet, kommen wir zum Eigentlichen. Hier nun ein paar Film Vorstellungen, weiss nicht ob es die schon in einem anderen Thread gibt, wenn ja dann nehms mir nicht übel !

GHOST MOTHER (Thriller / Horror / Drama)
Story: Mother had left her 3 children, their father, remarried and went to live abroad. When the father suddenly dies of unknown cause, Nuntha had to care for her 3 niece and nephews that her brother had left behind. To earn money to support the children Nuntha sells soya milk doughnuts in the morning.It is an old family recipe handed down to her from her mother.
She works hard and with love for her nieces and nephews. When Nuntha finds out that Chai, her dead brother had worked as undercover agent to gather evidence on powerful criminals due to an unfortunate misunderstanding she was murdered as well. Nuntha, even in her death still worries about her 3 nieces and nephews and how will they survive on their own so she continues to care for them as a ghost.
When Police Colonel Sumet, Chai’s superior officer finds out that one of his agents had peculiarly died, he started the investigation. He was astonished to find that the one raising these children is actually a ghost of their aunt Nuntha.

THE HAUNTED DRUM - PERNG MAANG (Thriller / Drama)
Story: In the year 1821, King Badin and professor Sau were obsessed with making the superb traditional Mohn hill-tribe drum. The story circled for a while that during the making of the drum the band broke up and King Badin’s child, Tip died of a strange illness. In time their story was forgotten.
60 years later, teacher Duang inherited the drum from King Badin. Many revered this drum as an instrument with a spirit that protects the musicians. If any musician pledge their allegiance to the spirit of the drum, they must honor their pledge or suffer ill fate.
Ping, a young orphan was determine to study traditional art. He resigned from his government job and went to ask teacher Duang to accept him as her disciple. He was so eager to learn that he secretly practiced during the night. One night he met a young girl name Tip. She saw his determination and she started to teach him.
They grew close and fall in love. Deputy Chief of the town wanted the drum for himself and sent some people to confiscate it. Duang fought them off but have to agree on drumming contest. She entered Ping and he won. But the Deputy Chief would not give up the drum so he tried to take it by force. That was a big mistake. Ping found out later that the drums are made out of Tip’s skin.

TRAIN OF THE DEAD (GHOST TRAIN) - CHUM TAANG ROD FAI PII (Horror / Thriller)
Story: Five teenagers, Jok the leader of the gang, transvestite Eak, Mude the junky, Kai the big mouth and June Jok’s latest squeeze rob a kindergarten. During the police chase their get-away car swerves and crashes into road side shop.
The gang crawl from the car and Jok grabs a still shocked bystander and drags him away through the back door of the shop. They escape to the remote railway station and climb onto an empty train carriage. Here they planned to wait for night fall when they can divide their loot and disperse in different directions.
Unexpectedly on that train were some wealthy people having a party. Jok see’s a chance to make more money by robbing the passengers. As he was about to start with the robbery there was suddenly no one there. With a shock Jok realized that he and his friends were not alive any more and passengers were all ghosts. This was the ghost train taking it’s passengers to their final judgment.

MASK OF THE DEAD ( Keine Ahnung ?! - Horror ?)
Story: In the aged century, the tale of traditional Siamese Takohn Mask that turned Love to Rage was born. It all started with the love triangle among Lord Chiang Roonk of Chiang Roonk Dynasty who deeply fell in love with Princess Pin Lar, whose heart was given to NaKen – a knight of Chiang Tung. In attempt to kidnap the princess, Lord Chiang Roonk and his masked troops ambushed the parade of Princess Pin Lar and her sister, Princess Dao Fa, while on the way to the temple for Lanna traditional merits making ceremony. Reported by the horseman, Lord Wang Kum of Chiang Tung along with NaKen and the troops dashed to rescue theirs lover princesses. In the middle of the chaotic and fierce battle, in just one strike, Lord Wang Kum’s sharp sword cut Lord Chiang Roonk’s head off his shoulder. NaKen threw Lord Chiang Roonk’s head, which was still attached to the his mask, into Mhan River, believed able to imprison all evil spirits.
In present day, a fashion advertising agency was shooting a short film with international models to promote the sophisticated beauty of the oriental garments and fabrics. Given the concept “Thai Garments and the Masks”, as traditional tale, the production was set at Mhan river. While the crew was busy getting everything ready for shooting, John – a curious and self-centered model, dove into the river. While finding himself surrounded with thousands of Takohn masks, he noticed one shining golden mask that had a skull attached to it. Without telling anyone, John took the golden mask, leaving the skull on the bottom of the river, not knowing his greed has released Lord Chiang Roonk’s evil spirit from captivity. A lifeless body was found the next day by the river. Jakra, a young and charming police offer was assigned to investigate this case. While investigating, he found many more increasing mysterious deaths.
While John was found dead in his hotel room, the other models, Louis’s and Mai’s bodies were found in the forest. Their heads were chopped off. Pin and Pad, the model sisters, had premonitions of the worse to come. Kan and Pal were skeptical and trying to figure out what caused these mysterious deaths. The answer revealed itself after Kara, Araty and Perter were found brutally killed. The truth of the past, love, revenge and grudge behind the mask that John brought up from the river. The ghost of Lord Chiang Roonk appeared in middle of crowded fashion show. Armed with his primitive hook weapon, his only mission was to kill every reincarnated soul who was involved in the last battle. What could stop this grudge? Who would win in this battle? Their lives were at stake.
THE UNSEEABLE - PEN CHOO GAB PII (Horror / Mystery)
Story: Pregnant peasant Nuan Jan (Siraphun Warranajinda), looking for her missing husband, finds shelter and temporary employment at a grand house on the outskirts of '30s Bangkok. Though she has an ally in sympathetic maid Choy (Visa Konska), it's clear Nuan Jan needs to be wary of the Mrs. Danvers-like housekeeper, Miss Somjit (Tassawan Senewong).
Despite Somjit's stern warnings to stay away from the estate's main building, where rich Madame Ran Juan (Supornthip Chougrangsee) resides in luxury, Nuan Jan just can't help snooping. At night, she discovers the mansion grounds house a potpourri of poltergeists.
When Nuan Jan gives birth, maid Choy takes the baby's umbilical cord and buries it as protection against vampiric ghosts. In turn, Madame instructs Nuan Jan to hand the newborn to her during the day to soothe her grief at being too old to conceive a child. However, Madame is obviously far from lonely; every night, she can be heard being satisfied by a secret lover.

So, dass müsste erstmal reichen ! Sehn ja alle schon mal nett aus. Für ein paar Filme hab ich leider keine Trailer und pics, also sorry for that ! Aber ich hoffe ich habe euer Interesse geweckt !
