Ihre Eltern sind Adrian (Banker) und Mutter Janet (Journalistin). Romola hat ungarische Wurzeln. Ihr Urgroßvater gründete die Keystone Press Agency in London.
Lebte als Kind in Singapur und Hong Kong.
Spielt Geige, kocht sehr gerne und bereist die Welt in ihrer Freizeit.
