When ComingSoon.net visited PDI (Pacific Design Images) in the Bay area recently, production designed Guillaume Aretos was really tight-lipped about the film, but he did say it was definitely in the works.

Es wird einen vierten und fuenften Teil geben, dazu noch ein Puss-In-Boots Spin-Off.

Ich finde die Shrek-Filme klasse, sind einfach alle witzig, bietet auch was fuer Erwachsene. Das besondere an den Shrek-Filmen fand ich immer die Disney-Verarschungen. Die haben sicher auch fuer den vierten und fuenften gute Ideen, also nur her damit!

Nach dem Titel her ("The Next Shrek") denke ich es ist eher ein Sequel.

Alles Filme die die Welt nicht braucht. Es ist nachvollziehbar dass die Macher aus diesem populären und nach wie vor sehr erfolgreichen Franchise soviel Geld wie möglich raus holen wollen, aber gleich drei Projekte auf einmal?
Einen schönen grossen Flop würde PDI/Dreamworks Animation richtig gut tun. Dass sie ihre Animationsabteilung einstampfen, darauf kann man wohl lange warten. Aber einen saftigen Flop würde sie wohl zum Umdenken bewegen, mit jedem niedlich--vermenschlichten Tierefilmchen ohne Herz und Hirn untermauern sie nur noch mehr das Vorurteil des kommerzorientierten, charakterlosen US-Animationsfilms.
