New horror film release from "Juon" director Takashi Shimizu. The year, 1970, eleven murders occur at a certain hotel in Gunma prefecture including the murder of a young girl. With his motives still unknown, the murder himself then meets a mysterious death. Now, 35 years later, a new string of dissappearances are shocking the people of Japan and the only thing linking each dissappearance is that the victims are all under 35. Could it be that each of the dissappearing persons are the reincarnation of people who died at the hotel? And if each of them is headed back to the hotel, could it be that the events at the hotel are still ongoing? Hang on for the thrilling climax!
Man, ich freue mich tierisch auf den Film, und ich habe MAREBITO nichtmal gesehen. Anscheinend ist Geneon Entertainment die neue Adresse in Japan was Veröffentlichungen der neuesten Horrorfilme angeht. Sehr schön zu sehen, da die DVDs immer mit super Bildqualität und meistens DTS-Sound aufwarten.
Leider beinhaltet auch diese DVD keine Untertitel, jedoch wird der Film sicherlich wie auch KANSEN (Infection / Masayuki Ochiai / 2004) und YOGEN (Premonition / Norio Tsuruta / 2004) von Lions Gate Entertainment als Top-DVD in den USA erscheinen. So lange bleibt für Leute, die erstmal auf Untertitel nicht verzichten können, also noch zu warten.
